Replay Media Catcher is a software that allows you to record music from external devices and from the online platform.
The interface of the program is easy to navigate through. On the left side of the screen you can view recordings (e.g. in progress, today), use a search tool and audio recorder.
Thus, you can press the big red button after selecting the output format in which files will be automatically converted (and optionally import into iTunes), in order to start the recording.
Also, you can search for online music, video and radio stations, and configure audio recording options (e.g split on silence, set threshold).
In addition, you can view the cache of your web browsers and extract content. More so, you can schedule a recording session in the case of streaming radio, as well as select the action to take after the task is completed (stop monitoring, suspend or hibernate computer).
Furthermore, you can view a log file, open the storage folder, edit meta data, fix FLVs, download a YouTube playlist, as well as configure conversion settings (e.g. output format, start time, video codec, frame rate, bit rate and frame size), as well as general settings (e.g. storage folder location, file naming rules, plugins).
Replay Media Catcher manages to complete a task in a short amount of time while using a low amount of system resources. However, errors occurred in the case of some media files and they could not be properly played.
